Upcoming 10 Nokia Phones in 2008

We decided to showcase all the upcoming Nokia mobile phones so that users can get a preview and compare, while they are making up their mind if they are planning to get a new feature rich Nokia Phone.

Nokia is the market leader in the mobile phone and it has some ambitious plans to challenge the other players who are biting away its market share.

It will be interesting to see how Nokia keeps its turf considering that now Apple has done with one phone what Nokia did with many. Here is the list of mobile phones that Nokia will release this financial year.

Nokia N96

3G Third-Generation

3G enabled phones are capable of browsing the internet, receiving and sending email, live video streaming, and much more. High data speeds characterize this technology and turn your phone into a powerful tool for accessing online and mobile content. There are several different 3G technology standards. The most prevalent is UMTS, which is based on WCDMA. (WCDMA and UMTS are often used interchangeably.)

Alarm

Alarms can be set for specific times and dates or can sometimes be used as a reoccurring daily alarm. Alarms can also be set to be a reminder for appointments based on entries into the phone’s calendar.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth provides an easy way to wirelessly connect and exchange information between mobile phones and electronic devices like laptops, PCs, printers and digital cameras, wireless headsets; basically any device that bears the Bluetooth icon. Faster than infrared and more secure, Bluetooth is an essential feature for maximum mobile phone connectivity.

Whilst close to half of Pakistan’s population use Mobile Phones frequently, very few take the necessary precautions to prevent damages. According to various studies, your Mobile Phone is in constant danger from dirt and moisture. We would like to brief you a few easy ways to protect your Mobile Phone from some potential damages:
 
 
1)  Protect your Mobile Phone from Moisture:
  
 Keep your device always dry. Precipitation, humidity and all types of liquids or moisture can contain minerals that rust electronic circuits. Liquid enters your device in many ways, for example:
 
 From sweating. It is recommended to not put your Mobile Phone on the top pocket of your shirt since it has more chances of grasping sweat.
 

From absorption through exposed areas of your Mobile Phone, (e.g. through joystick area, through charging port and through hands free port etc.)
 
 Do not keep the Mobile Phone in cold areas (e.g. near Air Conditioners). When it’s taken back to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device.
Avoid painting your Mobile Phones; it can block moving parts of your device.
Use of elfy, glue or any kind of gum stick etc. could also damage the moving parts.
Try to avoid using your Mobile Phone in wet areas; in the washrooms, near at wash basins or in the kitchens etc, as it will cause the battery to explode.
